tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2305965094924610850.post3708534137918576594..comments2013-12-22T07:27:55.670-08:00Eric Mayonoreply@blogger.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2305965094924610850.post-1802449256889371122010-08-06T12:18:30.581-07:002010-08-06T12:18:30.581-07:00Hi: my name is blanche. in 1993 i was given probation for a felony theft charge of 750. in 1994 the law changed regarding the "value" of property to constitute a felony and therefore my charge under the new law is classified as a misdemeanor. unfortunately while i was serving my last year of probabtion in 1996 i was wrongly accused of an assalt crime. my probation was revoked based on the new arrest and yet later on the assalt charge was dismissed but i still had to serve prison time because of my theft revocation. anyway, i made it out of prison in 2000 with no parole no probation etc. i have held the same job in corporate world for the past ten years and now with the current lay offs i am looking for a new employment. i have heard that some airline hire people with prior convictions as long as they are not recent. mine was back in 1993. do you think my tenure at my current employer speaks well with any potential new employer i may be looking to get hired with? thanks for your imput.
